Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga Hits Theaters

The movie adaptation of Twilight, the first in Stephenie Meyer’s series of bestselling young adult vampire novels, hit theaters this weekend with a domestic box office tally of $69,637,740. The film was shot with an estimated budget of 37 million and roughly broke even on its opening day with over 35 million in the US.
