A new theatrical trailer has been released for the Spierig brothers’ upcoming vampire movie, Daybreakers. With just over a month before the release, it would probably be fair to call it the most anticipated alternative to the Twilight Saga for vampire fanatics right now.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon arrives with an opening weekend box office of an estimated 140 million. The number places the second film in the Twilight series at third place in the All Time Opening Weekends chart, below The Dark Knight at the number one spot and Spider-Man 3 at second place.

More than five days before its release, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s series of vampire novels, already broke all previous records for advance ticket sales in Fandango’s ten year history. Its Thursday night midnight showings are already sold out across the US.
